About Our Trucks

The first electric truck from Freightliner being tested in LA by the California Air Resources Board. TITAN, in partnership with PGE and Freightliner, is adding six of these tractors to our fleet in 2022.

RENEWABLE DIESEL

TITAN Freight uses Renewable Diesel (not biodiesel), a fossil fuel free source, for 54% of our fleet energy use throughout Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Renewable Diesel is an ultra-clean burning fuel with a high Cetane score (83) compared to petroleum diesel (48). Cetane rating is a measurement of the quality or performance of diesel fuel. The higher the number, the better the fuel burns in a vehicle’s engine. It is made from plant-based oils, used cooking oils, and animal fats, and has 60% less greenhouse gas emissions than petroleum diesel, making it a viable bridge fuel to electric vehicles.
